Healing is possible—especially when we feel safe, seen, and supported.
Whether you're navigating relationship stress, family conflict, parenting challenges, or past trauma, I’m here to offer a grounded and compassionate space where real change can happen. I believe that many of the things we struggle with are actually coping strategies—creative attempts to find relief, connection, and belonging. My work begins with honouring that inner wisdom and helping you build new, healthier ways to move forward.
With decades of experience supporting families and individuals, I bring both professional training and personal understanding into the counselling space. My background includes working as an intensive family therapist, where I’ve seen firsthand the powerful changes that can happen when people feel safe enough to reconnect—with themselves, and with each other.
Whether you're an individual exploring your healing journey, a couple navigating tough dynamics, or a family trying to stay connected through stress, I’ll meet you where you're at. Together, we’ll build awareness, strengthen relationships, and support lasting change.
What You Can Expect
I draw from a wide range of evidence-based approaches—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), and the Gottman Method, with specialized experience in trauma, substance use, and affair recovery. For parents and caregivers, I integrate tools from AutPlay (Autism Play Therapy and Parent Training), Circle of Security Parenting, The Whole-Brain Child, and No-Drama Discipline to strengthen connection and emotional safety at home.
A Bit About Me
I’ve been married for 36 years, and our blended family includes three grown children (two biological, one adopted), two wonderful in-law kids, two amazing step-grandkids—and a great-grandma to a beautiful baby! These relationships continue to shape and inspire the work I do with families.
Outside of counselling, I love learning, gardening, camping, music, sports, theatre, and traveling with the people I love.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling, am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.
