clinical Supervision

New Ground Wellness has two clinical supervisors who provide mentorship and support for our practicum students. Depending on your preferred client demographic and where you feel the best fit, you will have the opportunity to meet with the supervisor most aligned with your learning goals.

Clinical supervision at New Ground Wellness is available for Registered Psychotherapists and Clinical Counsellors and is considered an important component of professional growth, as well as an expected ethical standard for most regulated counselling and psychotherapy designations

practicum

New Ground Wellness offers practicum placements for students completing their Master of Counselling. 

Practicums typically begin in September, January, and April, and we offer supervision from three experienced clinical supervisors.

We welcome students seeking either a primary or secondary practicum site and are committed to providing diverse clinical experience, warm mentorship, and a collaborative learning environment.

In-depth learning experiences that allow teams to dive deeper into key topics. Ideal for professional development days, leadership training, or organizational change initiatives.

Team Retreats & Wellness Experiences

Curated wellness retreats that nurture both individual and team well-being. Experiences may include:

Embodied Wellbeing

At New Ground Wellness, we offer a holistic range of mind–body services designed to support wellbeing, resilience, and sustainable performance.

Our practitioners guide individuals and groups through breathwork and cold exposure experiences to enhance nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and physical resilience, including specialised breathwork for athletes to optimise focus, recovery, and performance under pressure.

We also support whole-body health through nutrition and mind–body education, intentional fitness and movement practices, nature-based therapy and outdoor “Walk & Talk” sessions, and personalised sleep health support.

Each offering is thoughtfully delivered to help you reconnect with your body, restore balance, and build long-term wellbeing from the ground up.
