Helping children and families grow through play, connection, and care.
As a child and youth counsellor, I specialize in supporting young people through the emotional and behavioural challenges that can arise at home, at school, or within friendships. My sessions are designed to be engaging, creative, and grounded in safety, because when children feel comfortable and connected, they’re more open to healing and growth.
I work from a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens and tailor every session to meet your child’s unique needs, interests, and personality. Whether it’s through play, art, sand tray work, mindfulness, or nature-based exploration, I help children express themselves, build emotional awareness, and develop confidence.
Is your child or teen…
Struggling to manage big emotions?
Worrying or having trouble sleeping?
Showing changes in behaviour or mood?
Having a tough time at school or with friends?
Are you a parent who feels like you're doing everything you can but feels as though nothing is working?
You're not alone, and counselling can help. I work with caregivers, offering support, insight, and practical strategies tailored to the unique preferences and needs of their child.

A little more about me…
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me playing soccer, volleyball, or rugby, painting, exploring nature, or planning my next travel adventure. Movement, creativity, and connection are central to how I live and how I work.
Why a counsellor…
Listening has always been a strength for me. Working with children in the school setting has greatly emphasized the need for child and youth mental health support. Supporting young minds in planting seeds of resilience, courage, and growth has become one of my greatest passions.

Frequently Asked Questions

When a child’s parents separate, both parents are the child’s guardians, unless a formal agreement or court order says otherwise. Guardians have "parental responsibilities,” including making decisions about important aspects of the child’s life, such as health care.
If you and your ex are guardians for your child — and they are not mature enough to consent to their own health care — I need consent from each guardian before I can provide services to the child.

This is totally up to the child and their comfort level. Sometimes a child might want their caregiver to come in for the first little bit of a session, and other times, the child might feel comfortable coming in on their own right away.
